Training & Study:
I am a qualified Qigong instructor through the Bristol School of Shiatsu and a Somatic Movement Educator through the school of Body-Mind Centering® (Soma in France & EMA in UK).
I first came to taichi in 2002, whilst studying movement for performance with Phillip Zarrilli (‘making the body all eyes’: tai chi-Wu form, yoga & kalarippayattu, a martial art form from Kerala).
I’ve been lucky to learn from many great teachers since, and I bring 20 years of embodied and conscious movement practice to my classes, including yoga, feldenkrais and breath work. I have taught in a wide range of settings, from experienced movers to ‘beginners’. I bring my passion for all things anatomy and physiology to my classes.
I am part of the 2024 cohort receiving year-long Qigong mentorship from Mimi Kuo-Deemer.
